While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant, and resumed their trip.

When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table, and she didn't miss them until they had been driving about forty minutes. By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around, in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.

All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained, and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up one minute.

To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As the woman got out of the car, and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer yelled to her,"While you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card."

I'm at the age where I'm beginning to understand why folks make a list before going anywhere!

There have been RV'ers that have driven off and left the wife behind. I didn't do it yet, but.............

Laughing now! Never left the wife but once left her mother. Despite my applogies, the 'ol gal always believed it was intentional.

:D:D:D Way back in the 1950s, a local elderly couple snowbirded it down to Arizona. (Much to the consternation of their adult children.) She was cooking breakfast one morning and asked him to get some milk. He jumped in the car and drove to the grocery store, with the trailer still hitched to the car. Luckily the cook only had a few small spills. :D

I'm gonna attach a gps to my glasses! I'll bet I loose them 5 times a day.

A couple of relatives,(on the wife's side) were returning from vaction. She was sleeping in the truck camper and he was driving. He stopped in Northern Flordia for gas, and without telling him, she went into the convience store. He filled up and left. The store owner called the police to pull him over but he was in Oklahoma before a patrolman stopped him.

I hate it when I take off and find out I still have a trailer attached. Anymore, I have a one-ton dually that is pretty well preserved for pulling trailers so about the only time it gets unhooked is when I need to pull another one.

I worked with a guy at an ag research center that came to work and told us about moving cattle at home the day before. He used chains to tie the panels to his trailer to load the cattle, but forgot to unchain them on one side when he took out and ended up dragging the panels all along behind him. I hope that he had the last of the cattle in the pen. I would have loved to see that!:D:D:D
