Well this year I finally took two friends of mine out for some White Tail Deer hunting and for a couple of rookies they did real well. The first morning produced a small Doe and that evening produced a nice 4 point (8 point for those south of the border), there were a few more over the weekend and they had a great time, I know that one is hooked for life now. They both filled their tags and I filled one of mine. (Can have up to three tags in Alberta)

This was also the first hunt for a new rifle for me, a Tikka T3 300wsm, I am in love with that rifle, now I just need to learn how to hand load as the shells are a little expencive.
