Aaah, the Golden Years

LAUGH A LITTLE EVERY DAY....

SPECIAL POEM FOR
A row of bottles on my shelf
Caused me to analyze myself.
One yellow pill I have to pop
Goes to my heart so it won't stop.
A little white one that I take
Goes to my hands so they won't shake.
The blue ones that I use a lot
Tell me I'm happy when I'm not.
The purple pill goes to my brain
And tells me that I have no pain.
The capsules tell me not to wheeze
Or cough or choke or even sneeze.
The red ones, smallest of them all
Go to my blood so I won't fall.
The orange ones, very big and bright
Prevent my leg cramps in the night.
Such an array of brilliant pills
Helping to cure all kinds of ills.
But what I'd really like to know . . .
Is what tells each one where to go!

There's always a lot to be thankful for if
you take time to look for it. For example
I am sitting here thinking how nice it is
that wrinkles don't hurt.

I dunno, Lee -

In your advanced years, it appears you've slipped a cog or two - can't conjure up any of those links you posted except the bottom one. DOK and I will simply sit back and comtemplate your needs at the nursing home! :p

Every winter seems colder. The last two had me pondering how much it would cost to drag my camper down to Arizona. That area around Quartzite sure was warm when I was trucking thru there a bunch of winters ago. I can remember the great ribs the guy made from the outdoor BBQ stand he had set up there every winter right by I-10.

I've got so many pills that it's hard to keep track of them. I could do one of those poems, but I don't think this forum has enough bandwidth.

 Cogs were all O.K. when originally posted, but none of the images seem to work anymore, so I deleted them. Too bad, as they were quite humerous.

Yup, "cogs were all O.K., when originally posted" is one of the first signs!!

The only thing Golden about these years is the coins I have to give all the doctors. ha ha
