Hi Folks

I am new to this forum and I need some help! I have been hand loading for about four years and I want to start casting bullets (.457 Ball-.357 SWC-.45LC SWC). Can anyone recomend a good book to help the beginner.

I have just bought a Lee Melter and I am waiting for the molds. I am using a Ruger Old Army-Winchester 94 Trapper .357 and a Winchester 94 Legacy .45LC

Many Thanks

Lyman or RCBS cast bullet manuals. That's as good a place as any to start.

While you are waiting on the Lyman book to come in; I think this is a pretty good article. http://www.realguns.com/archives/055.htm

There is also a wealth of information right here, be sure to read the safety notes sticky at the top of the page.
