Have wanted a 475 A&M mag for about 40 years and have finnaly decided to jump and would like any opinion on the Ruger No 1 action as a basis for it. Any help or comments are very welcome. olddudeone

Yup it' will work fine. I don't know if this outfit does those big mags, but I know that there are several adds in some of the shooting rags about folks that chamber really atrocious cartridges in the Ruger #1 action.
