Can anyone provide me with some good information or a link to a website on the subject? I like to watch them as much as hunt them.

ruger71,do a search and type in deer food plots. when i planted mine i tried to stay away from sites created by companies geared toward promoting thier food plot products. alot of state sponsored sites i found to be very helpful and unbiased. also call your county or state extension office. they were very helpful here in ohio. came out and looked around and gave me alot of good advice. one more place to get info is a major college in your area that has wildlife department. at osu,they stay up on the latest info. be ready to tell all wether you want a food plot or hunting plot as there is a difference. also, after you`ve decided on where and what your going to plant DO A SOIL SAMPLE. treat soil as needed. no since in spending time and money and not yeilding the most for your efforts. goodluck:D
