Does anyone use any other kind of bullets for their black powder revolvers other than round balls?? I would like to use my new Christmas present for hunting and would like to use somethign other than round balls...

BOWHUNTER I cast conicals 200gr for my 58 and work fine but never shot anything but cans and paper. Loaded them Goex 3f 25gr shot good then went and loaded 30 grs of 3f on the 4th shot it broke my grips, a little recoil for those thin grips. But that load is getting close to 45 long colt black loads performance. I take it your a bow hunter like me so up close and personal that load will no doubt drop a deer! won't have to worry about getting busted drawing your bow now you'll just have to wait for the SMOKE to CLEAR!!
