I`m sitting with two .303 Lee Enfield No4 Mk1* rifles. One made by Savage, and saw considerable use. The other made by Long Branch, and saw almost no use att all. The Long Branch rifle i would like to keep original as it is realy in mint condition, the other rifle i have partly converted to sporting, including scope etc. this rifle i would like to eppsize. I have heard that the No. 4 action is not realy meant to handle the extra pressure, but have also come accross reports of people who have done it, and have no problems. Any suggestions?

There's a few threads on the Epps listed below. IIRC, the WW II No.4 Mk I is stronger than the WW I No.1 Mk III.
