I put hogue monogrips on my new ruger redhawk 4" 44mag and it made a little bit of difference for my big hands. The stock grips took some getting use to but they are not long enough and my hand hangs below the frame, the monogrips took care of the problem.Just waiting for good weather to try some reloads.:)

If these are the ones with that leave the back strap exposed they hurt my hands with even medium hot loads. They feel really good til you shoot them.

Yes the back strap is exposed but its better than the stock ones.

I found them to fit my hand better than factory or "Presentation". Did NOT fit the backstrap of the firearm very well(left a gap for debri to enter). I shot well with them though. Very comfortable.
There are better grips out there for an "exposed" backstrap IMO. Why put rubber in the front?
I hope yours fit better than mine.

Cheezywan,I found that mine had a gap to but I noticed when I backed the screw out alittle the gap closed up and fit perfect.I just put alittle drop of thread locker on the screw.
