I have put together with help a 40-65 muzzleloader it is a 40 cal .400 bore with .005 riflings 1 in 16 twist had to put a breech plug in the barrel and then made a flint lock chambers siler lock davis double set triggers ted cash furniture open sights curly maple premium stock after three years finally killed my first buck had trouble with ignition at first then trying to find a bullet that i could more then 3 shots out i found a 41 cal 410 dia that is sized to 409 with vegtable .060 wads 65 grains goex fffg powder sighted in at 3 inches high at 100 yards i am starting to like this gun i guess now i can ask my question has anybody out there ever heard of this before and there progess skidoo

Welcome to the forum skidoo. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.

Your going to have to show us some pix of that muzzle loader. It sounds like your getting a load and bullet that works. I've shot some muzzle loaders, but never a flinter.
