I hope someone here can provide some information. A friend called me and asked my opinion about a U.S. Arms Abilene, .44 Mag. He has the opportunity to purchase one for $200. The gun is in good shape and shows no signs of wear or abuse. He would use the gun when he is out in Montana at the cabin. Let me know what you folks think.

Had one years ago. Held up much better thn the Ruger SAs. Tell him to go for it.

Your friend should be ashamed of himself (after he gets it home). $200 is too cheap. They are a fine piece. Better finished than the Ruger and beginning to approach colletor status.
