Shoulder is in the same place for this wildcat as the 6.5 X 06 so would use this starting data from the Sierra manual for the 6.5X06. Starting load data for the .270 should also be okay.

Welcome to the forum sagree5. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.

338CE gave you good advice there's basically no difference between the 6.5-06 and 6.5-270 as far as case capacity.

Won't be a nickel's worth of difference between it and a 6.5-06. The .270 Win has just a bit longer neck to it, is all.

Newton set the shoulder back a bit on the .256, compared to the parent .30-06 as he didn't have a slow enough powder for the full case. This was before World War I.

The Nosler manual also has 6.5-06 loading data, which, as others have stated, you can use.
The 256 Newton is a totally different cartridge, and data is not interchangeable.
