Leupold offers the German #1 reticle as being available in some of their scopes. The German #1 reticle being the verticle center post with pointed top (like looking at a picket fence slat from grandma's front lawn fence), and with two opposing horizontal side bars (one on the left and one on the right).

Does anyone have, or has used, the Leupold German #1 reticle?
What's your opinion of their version of the German #1 reticle?

I've used/use European #1 reticles in other scopes, it's just I've never seen, or heard of anyone, using Leupold's version?

thank you for your time with any replies, outsidebear

If you like that type of reticle then you like it. I've used the duplex type for so many years that I'd have a hard time with it.

I heard that Leopold Will change any reticle on any of their scopes to whatever the owner wishes. Is this true? I'm sure a money thing will have to be in affect in there somewhere. Q

Leupold's web site has all kinds of information. They have a custom shop to do just about any thing you would want done to a scope, including swapping out the reticles. Heck, they'll even engrave it for you!
