I am watching a show on the history cannel about a lion that killed 50 people in Africa in the early '90's. Very enlightning. The Ranger that killed him used a sportered No4mk1 Enfield. Who says the .303 is underpowered! 2 shots between the eyes, w/ original sights. Very scary stuff. That Ranger had large ones! Jim

I just watched that very show this afternoon Jim. That was some nasty looking brushy country he was chasing that lion in also. Noticed they shot a bunch of unmaned males before they got the right one. That looked like a really good place to shoot first and ask questions later. Noticed that none of the folks that were providing protein for the lions had guns except for the rangers they brought in. Such a good advertisement to be armed.
