I have a marlin 39C I've had since the mid 70's I have never seen another one. Does anyone have info? I think it was made in 1971 because sn starts with 71. It has a pistol grip,short barrel,holds 11 long rifles.

I have a 39D that fits that description, also made in 1971. Never heard of a 39C.
