Disclaimer: Let me start off by saying, anything below this line, is my opinion and views. Based on what I experienced with this paticular firearm. I'm sure all are not like this one.

Stop by my friends shop, watching it snow, and decided to try that new Ruger. Got it off the shelf and started loading the mags. Thats where the problems began. Mags dont like to be loaded. The tips of the bullets get caught in the mag catch hole. I had to push each one back as they got to the hole to ever get it loaded, smacking it on my palm wasn't moving them enough to proceed. You could see where the tips of the FMJ bullets were being shaved off by that hole.

Shooting it, the trigger was terrible, creepy and gritty feeling, but that might get better with use. But the travel of the trigger would take some getting used to, it is looooong. This paticular gun shot 6" low at 7 yards, and I have no clue why.

It was so bad, he was going to send it back to Ruger. I'm very disappointed, long being a Ruger fan, but give me a P95 or my trusty P93 over that thing anyday. Atleast till they get the bugs worked out.

THanks for the info. I was planing on buying one in the next fews days, since I found nothing at the gun show. I was somewhat worried about buying it without first trying one, but the one local shop is normally $80-100 less than the others, but has no range.

I have found out that Ruger is aware of the mag problem, and was replacing them mags for free. Give them a call and see what they say.
