Older T model Weaver scope, the objective lens has a haze on the inside. Does anyone still service these old girls? They sure were hard to beat.

I'll have to look, but there were a couple of places that would take them on (Someone out there remind me the name of the shop...was in El Passo I believe).

What happens with the old ones is that the lens elements were bonded with something that was not as UV resistant as would be liked, result is that clouding BETWEEN the lens elements. Some years back, with a science lab I could use after hours, fixed a seperating objective (for an old Litchert) by mounting the lens in an induction coil, putting that in a bell jar, drawing a vacuum, and heating it up.

Check out the thread here http://www.shootersforum.com/showthread.htm?t=36768 for options for non-warranty scope repair. Good luck. I too think those old Weavers are keepers.
