...but it sure is cool. I'm pretty happy with it, the price was great ($300), it came with the bi-pod, my dealer threw in the green dot sight (they are only $35, but I have one on my MKIII target pistol and its been flawless) Its been getting up to 5 degrees the past few days, but next week is supposed to be a lot nicer, so far the trigger is great and its very solid, but what else could you expect from Ruger.

Yes it is ugly, but I'll bet it's going to be fun to shoot. Should be a dandy rig for plinking and potting those close up ground squirrels. To bad it's so cold to go out and try it. I'm in the process of building an airgun backstop so I can plink in my workshop just to keep shooting something where it's warm in the winter.

I really don't think its that ugly, its been approved for bullseye competition, so its already pretty cool.

The best part is that it is a 10/22 action, which is quite possibly the nicest thing that ever happened to .22LR guns. I think Ruger hit a homerun with this, my dealer ordered 4 in from the distributor. When he called they had 100, by the time he was done ordering, they had sold all 100 already. I walked in the door just a few minutes after the FedEx truck dropped them off, and he figured he could sell the other three in just a few phone calls.

I was hoping to use it for bullseye and possibly have it set up in the coyote blind for close in work <25 yards. It won't have the recoil of a big gun, and the green dot scope offers lightning quick target acquisition and accuracy.

I think it's right purty. What is it exactly?

Its a Ruger Charger, .22LR. Its built with the proven 10/22 action, a 10" bull barrel, and a black laminate stock.

I'm sure it will perform very well, hope to get out to the range this weekend.
