With all the talk about the 45-70 I couldn't help myself!??, now I've got me a Marlin 1895 45-70!!! and a darnd nice look'n one too!
Now I gota go and buy another $100 or so of reloading supply's!
And since I've got an extra scope mount for it I'm probably going to have to put one on it!
YEP, you guys are a bad influence!!!

You don't have to buy the reloading supplies and put that extra scope on the rifle...

You could just ship it to me!:D:D

And don't forget the lead pot and molds. Those big bores really like the big lead bullets.

What are friends for if they can't help you round out your gun collection?!

Last year a neighbor invited me to ride along while he picked up an FN-type battle rifle from Jensen's in Loveland, CO. I came home $200 poorer and the proud owner of a used S&W M10.

Friends are great...but I am not riding along to the gun show in Cheyenne tomorrow!

Bought a second Winchester 1886 so the first one wouldn't feel lonely, and think they might both need an 1885 as an older brother.

The one on the left is my 1950 336A 35REM, it needed some company, it wears a vintage Weaver K4F scope, so I thought that the 1895 need to live up to it's older brother!
It now wears a vintage Weaver V7-W 2.5-7 scope in vintage rings too.

And I think I'll have about $200 into reloading supply's before I'm done getting stuff for the 45-70!

And the Winchester 30-30 trapper, the Winchester 9422 and the Henry Golden Boy!
And "IF" I ever find the Marlin 39A???? I'll have all the levers I want!???, I cant seem to talk my brother out of his Winchester 1895 (1905) 30-03! (30 Government)
