I am looking for ideas on how to make a cheap and simple BBQ pit. Any ideas? I am not looking for a grill I want it to be a real BBQ pit made for slow cooking.

I am not sure if this would be the right place to post this if not sorry!

depending on what you would like to cook depends on the design of the cooker if you send me your email address I can send you some pictures of a smoker I make out of a lp gas tank they are real cheep to make I cook every thing from vegies to venison roast in it if that not what you are looking for give me some more info as to what you are looking for and I can look it up for you Forest Punch;)

Concrete and firebrick would be my choice(if I were to build one). I would also make a cover for it when not in use. The size and shape are up to you.
