Anyone have a source for wood grips for a Taurus 445 2" ported .44 Special? The ribbed rubber has to go.....
Also looking for holsters; there's not much I can find out there.

The holster for a L frame S&W will fit. I have a Bianchi Accumold on mine, but I like the thumbsnap, you may not.

I agree about the ribbed grip, totally phony. I have a Hogue overmolded on mine, its much nicer, but I would like to see a wood/rubber one.

Have you checked the Taurus website? I know they have several different grips for the small frame revolvers.

Here's where to look. It looks like there are some rubber replacement grips for this "compact" frame gun, but not the wood grips like for the small frame guns.

I've got a 41 mag Tracker with the ribber grips and find them very good. Both my 2 inch Ultra-light snubby and the little Rossi stainless 22 have the Rubber grips which also work very well.
