I have a chance to purchase a very good condition Weaver KV 60 (1950-1984) . I intend to mount it on a mint Savage 1899. I know the Weaver K series had permanently centered reticles. Does anyone know if this is true for the KV? I am purchasing the scope via mail so I can't test it. I am hoping that the 60 stands for the year manufactured and the V for variable and the K for the series. Thanks.....
