Good day to all...first off I want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me out on here...lol
I don't plan on handloading until this summer. Bear season is just around the corner, I ordered two boxes of the new Leverevolution ammo. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it? What do you think? I would like to sight in at 100m and from muzzle to 100m be no more than 2inches above or below line of sight. Will this ammo do that? It is 325gr.

evry gun is different my .444ss wont keep 3 rounds inside of 8 inches with the leverevolution ammo, and as i understand it in the .444 its not that balisticaly superior to there light magnum ammo wich shoots 2.5 inch groups at 100 yards in my gun. however the stuff shoots great in my 30-30 1.75 and smaller groups havent done any longer or shorter range testing but they do look promising. also dont leave the rounds in the gun any longer than needed the little rubber tip will flaten out if you leave them in the mag tube for a week of elk hunting

Thanks for the reply!!!
That is weird, I just had someone tell me the same thing at the range today. This guy was using a 45/70 as well. He said its not bad ammo, but there is better as far as factory ammo goes. He was only getting 3 to 4.5 inch groups at 100m. So I thought to will try the good old Rem 300gr JHP moving @ 1800+ fps, that will get the job done.

Never used it with big bores but I am inside if 3.5" @ 100m with the .30/30 LEVERlution. Great stuff. Hard to find in FL cuz everybody wants it

I've never had a Marlin that wouldn't shoot Remington factory ammo as well as any boltaction rifle. I always shoot the heaviest bullet Remington offers for the caliber I'm shooting.

With my 35 Remington there was 7 to 8 inches difference between the leverevolution and the standard Win and Fed loadings with the levereveloution shooting higher. They are more accurate but the cost for factory ammo they are all about the same cost.
I just wish that Hornady wouldn't cut the customers out of the new developments. They keep the special bullets away from the handloader and the powders that make the same ammo perform at higher velocities than handloaders. We handloaders have showed that we can figure out about any component so why don't they release the special stuff to those of us who created their business.

I load for the 45/70 so I haven't bought any.
I tried the .35 but It jams my RC. I haven't tried my other two.
In the RC and the 30/30s it does just as the box says.
My Adl is a bit higher as it has a 24 barrel, but all the others are zeroed at 100 w/ the heaviest Corlockts for the cal and the LE is exactly 3" high at 100 to make it .5 under at 200.
That's awesome as I don't have to adjust the scopes. On the .35 rc I carry 3 in the shell holder should the need arise and I'll hand feed them. I really feel fine to 200 w/ the corlocts in 3030 or .35 but now that I have a real range finder I might want the extra range.
I never shot bolts so w/ all the increased range potential of the LE it still hard to get excited about shooting something so far away it has no chance of knowing I'm there. Almost like that illegal shooting from a computer.

I installed a 3x9x40 B&L Scope on my Marlin XLR 45-70 so it took a bit to get it on paper then I switched to LEVO 1875fps ammo and got an acceptable group.I'll have to redo it for the 2050fps LEVO ammo. While at the SHOT Show I purchased a large loop lever from WILD West Guns and will install it.

I shot some through my Marlin 45/70 this fall. I was really impressed. I shot several off hand groups into one ragged hole from 50 and 75 yards with open sights.

I guess I'm out of the loope but what you mean 1875fps ammo and 2050fps.... just aint never heard of ammo refered to that way, grain wt yes, but by feet per second, no.
I'm not worried about fps when it comes to 45-70 ammo, as the fps really don't mean squat if you can't hit the side of a barn accurately. If your bullet weight has the smackdown, and your accurate with it, it don't matter if you fps is 1350 or 1900 fps it will do its job.
Long before Leverlution Ammo the good ol 45-70 was doing it with 405-gr wt bullets at 1350 fps.

Long before Leverlution Ammo the good ol 45-70 was doing it with 405-gr wt bullets at 1350 fps.Hornaday Lev revo ammo originally propelled the 325 gr bullet at 2050fps but for awhile they were unable to obtain the same powder & switched to a different type that had a velocity of 1875fps.I still have a couple of boxes of that loading. Now it's back to the original velocity of 2050fps that gave the outstanding performance.
