It's not too often that I get to the back of any of my safes. So happens I got there today in the one where my 94's live. Thought you all might like a gander. Nothing ultra-special but some interesting.

Left to Right:

7-30 Waters rifle (98%)
307 (unfired with box)
356 (I suspect unfired)
375 (unfired with box)
375 (99.5%)
444 (unfired with box)

"Nothing ultra special but some interestring"? Well just try to put that collection together today and you will soon discover how "ultra special" they really are! Fantastic little group and getting more valuable AND rare all the time. Too many collectors are ignoring the late model Winchesters. A real opportunity has almost slipped away.

A rifle unfired is a paperweight!! Sorry that's a waste of good shooting irons!! :( Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the most collectable one's have been fired- Except maybe those Special one's with all the gold on them!! Then again I use them for what God intended-hunting and shooting!

Kinda like owning a dog that doesn't hunt, really. He's more or less worthless. But we love him 'cause he's just nice to have around. ;)

Dunno. I ain't into gold guns.

Then again I use them for what God intended-hunting and shooting!

I feel I've done a pretty good job of doing God's intent with these rifles. I never intended to fire any of them, really. But two of them have been fired since I've owned them.........the Waters and one of the .375's. Both were fired one shot each at the same range session. My brother's father-in-law is the most likeable old fellow I've ever known. He's also the HUGEST gun accumulator I've ever known. Couple years ago, he was within an hour or so of passing on. The Lord pulled him out of it and a year later allowed him to come to PA to shoot with us. I told him that if he came up..........I'd have something special for him. On that afternoon, he got to shoot 4 calibers he'd never shot before.....ever. The Waters and the .375 were two of them. As far as I'm concerned.......when my old buddy's time does finally come (and he's not well at all again)..........I can smile knowing that that lineup of rifles served a very special purpose for a very nice man.

Maybe someday I will take a wild hair and got shoot every last one of them. I've got shells for all of 'em. But I ain't got any immediate, burning need. Kinda like the dog that don't hunt. I still like to pet him. :D
