Shocking....

To be honest I believe our country mave have moved too far to the left to save it. I believe we are on a downhill slide. I suppose it is too much to ask of parents to raise and educate their children.

Well remember the people of today want instant gratification and no responsibility. I think I have to agree with you William.

Yes and a guarantee of satisfaction and safety.

It is hard to imagine people complaining that an amusement ride is boring until someone is injured on it, then there is an outcry asking how these dangerous devices are allowed to be in use.

OK, I'm not a kid. It's the middle of the night, and I hear noises. How do I pick up my own stinkin' gun? It doesn't mention how the devce is to be deactivated!

I wouldn't mind putting it on my table at the gun show next to the "Please don't touch without permission" sign, of course the first person shocked will go get his buddies and have them pick it up who then will get their buddies to do it and so on, of course you would get plenty of traffic to your table.

gmd,
I'm thinking you keep a bucket of water near the bed and a stick to lift the handgun and drop it into the water shorting the circuit and then drop the unit out ( it will have to be replaced anyhow since it is now useless) load your mag, rack the slide and your all ready. Talk about repeat business. Sounds like a fantastic idea! Uh-oh! I just thought, this won't work on any of the polymer guns will it? Back to the drawing board!

The whole thing is just dippy enough to be a joke. It isn't even close to being in "official" patent law language, just for a start. Just laughable, really.

And the dolt has clearly never had the grips off of a real revolver, as he assumes that space is empty.

In the first place, responsible firearms owners would never have a need for this device because they would never leave a firearm out where children can just pick it up. Whatever happened to parental responsibility to teach their children about firearms safety or has this been delegated to the schools who are already teaching the children that all firearms are BAD? This device should be placed in the inventor's privates and activated. Just my take on this.
