Chestnutt lodge is a pay per kill hunting operation. I have an older friend who has been there several times and is pleased with the set up. There are some wild feral hogs in Johnston Co., and in Carteret and Pamlico, thou these last two are small and hard to access, even for a local. THere are some in the mountians as well, but these are more heavily regulated.

Been wanting to try there, but it's quite a hike from this end. If I back up, I'll fall overboard, and they're plum nearly in the mountians. What part of NC are you in?

Is there any good public access hog hunting in NC. A buddy and me are wanting to go somewhere fairly close to KY to hunt hogs, but are on a very tight budget.

I have 600 acres of prime deer and turkey land in east central KY that I would be willing to trade for a hog hunt somewhere in the south east part of the country. As close to KY as possible. If anyone is interested just let me know.

Also have a good grouse and bobcat population.
