Does anyone make replacement barrels for Glocks that can handle lead better, or is it in the feeding process where a problem exists?

I haven't checked all of these links recently to see if they are still active, but these are several manufacturers that make barrels for the Glock. They vary in price and accuracy, so you would have to research which fit your needs best. As far as shooting lead, you should be able to use any barrel that has conventional rifling.

Good luck, let us know what you choose.

Lead vs. Glocks >>>>

You can shoot hardcast lead thru your OEM Glock bbl if you bother to clean every 50(or so) rds.

I have quite a few hardcast 200's thru my G20 without any problems. This is my normal hunting load.

One "problem" you could have is the case longivity with the OEM bbls if you are a reloader.

Other than that, HARDCAST with FREQUENT CLEANING is fine. -----pruhdlr

I have used a lot of lead bullets in a G26 and G17 with no problems. Accuracy was aproblem until I tried a 160 gr bullet with a light charge of AA#2. I wouldnt try any fast loads with lead.

There are several barrel makers that make drop in barrels for the Glock with standard rifling. The first one that comes to mind is Wilson Combat but there are others. Check with Midwayusa.com
