Been a lurker for a few years fellas and decided to finally register and join the party!!!
I was wondering if anyone is shooting IMR 3031 with a gas checked hard cast in their .45-70s
I would like to be around 1800fps to 1900 fps in my guidegun.

49 grains of IMR3031 under a 405 grain Cast Performance yields 1700 fps in my 22" Marlin 1895. 53 grains yields 1850 fps.
