Cabela's has their house named scope designated specifically for the LEVERevolution® ammo in .444 and 45/70 on sale for $99.99. The scopes are called the leveraction scope and designed with 5" eye relief for that gun. This sounds great and the price is good but I have found with scopes that you get what you pay for. Does anybody have any opinion on these?
Thanks in advance.

I've had tremendous results with Cabela's scopes and they have a warrentee policy as good as Leupolds. I've put better than 20 of the Pine Ridge models on various 22's and big game rifles.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I've been looking for something with long eye relief and most were in the $200 range which was a little too high since I still am trying to justify to the wife why I needed the 45/70 XLR that I just had to have. A $99 scope will be much easier to accept. I am glad to hear that Cabela's will stand behind their scopes also. Thanks for the input! pistolpete

Pete I bought about 20 at one time when they had a big sale in the Bargain cave in the Sidney NB store. They had the 2 by 7's for 20 bucks apiece. I bought them for Xmas presents and for friends birthdays and such. As I was getting near the end of them I found a new in the box one that the cross hairs were at a 45 degree angle.

When I called Cabela's they said send it back to them. I explained how it was bought on sale and I only paid 20 bucks for it and though new in the box it was 2 years old now. They said send it back anyway. Two weeks later I got a brand new 2 by 7, 70 buck scope with a note thanking me for doing business with them. They sure have gotten a lot of my business after that kind of service.
