I have some Lee Cast 255gr plain base bullets and Unique powder. I would like a load for accuracy as I will be target shooting.
The bullets are lubed with allox.
My rifle is an NEF .444
Thanks for the help

The Lyman cast bullet handbook lists 11.5gr start to 17gr max Unique @1590fps for the Lyman #429244 250gr cast bullet seated to 2.620" COL, Rem brass and 9½ primer. Test gun was a 22" Marlin 444 w/1:38" twist with a groove diameter of .431, the Handi has a 1:20". My .444 Handi slugs at .4308" groove and .4248" at the lands, so a cast bullet sized to .432" should be good if yours is similar to mine. I've shot the 355gr Beartooth .432" w/RL7 in mine, accuracy is excellent.

Thanks for the help.
I just loaded some with 12.9 gr (1.6cc Lee dipper) Unique.
Unique doesn't weigh consistently with the dipper.
