Don't think so! One of only 2 states without some form of a concealed carry law. I'll watch and find out if I'm wrong.

Better check w/ each state for their laws. In general, the bike's saddlebags are like a car's trunk. Many states will allow a gun packed away in the bags, unloaded and inaccessible to the rider.

But, don't count on it.

Good advice to check your state laws on transporting firearms. Your state may require some kind of LOCKABLE hardcase or saddlebags and yes, NOT easily accessible from the saddle.

so long it's in a in a closed zipped or latched case and unloaded no problems.
I do it all the time, been pulled over by the state for being a little speedy had to get INS. card and he asked if it that was a firearm in the case and if it was unloaded thats all!! DID NOT EVEN ASK FOR FOID CARD!!! THATS A SHOCKER! Now UNDER THE SEAT OR HIDDEN WITH IN YOUR REACH your getting into a gray area . what part of greedy communist ILL do you live in?

Illinois is so whacked that anywhere north of Springfield, you can't even PRONOUNCE the word "gun" without getting a full body search - after you're tazered.

THIS, however, is one of my all-time faves...
