I fell in love with a 94 .30wcf in very good condition in a local store mfg. Date is between 43-48 the only thing is a missing rear sight elevation ramp. The wood is a very nice walnut. And overall is about 90 % finish. The price 650.00. Might be a bit steep but I'm in love. Now should somthing this old be shot and carried in a horse scabbard in the field or be regulated to the safe. How rare and colectible is a rifle of this caliber no pun intended.

That sounds like a fair price, I just bought a 43-48 that I would guess from the serial number that it was made around 1944, it has all the pre-war features. I paid just under $600.00 for it. I would not let $50.00 stop me if I really wanted it.
As long as the rifle is as discribed you can shoot all the 30-30 ammo in it your hart desires:)
