Didn't you hear? They've done a total recall on all firearms and they must be disposed of...lucky for you I live near one of the disposal facilities. So, if you carefully package them up and ship them to me I'll make sure they are all taken care of for you. :D...you buying any of this?
Seriously though...what make and model are these guns? Posting pics of them would help us identify exactly what you have and what they might be worth.
Bulldog - we tend to shy away from trying to establish the worth of firearms on this board, as most members are shooters and not professional appraisers.
The best way to find the APPROXIMATE value of your firearms is to frequent the various auction sites and sales boards on the internet to get an idea of what the market is doing. Also, there are various publications that give the average value of firearms. Do a Google search for firearms values.

The "Gun Traders Guide" and "Blue Book on Gun Values" are both easy to find and will give you all the pricing and values you could want. I recommend the Blue book.
As has been mentioned the auction sites are a valuable resource. If you register with a free account you can look up finished auctions. This will give you a better idea of true value than just looking at asking prices.
Tell us what you got, maybe make us jealous.
Condolences if your father has passed away. If he just handed them over, be sure and quiz him on provenance.

Just in case you are totally new to firearms, here are some links to the auction sites the fellas mentioned;
http://www.auctionarms.com/
http://www.gunbroker.com/
http://www.gunsamerica.com/
These sites can be a bit difficult to navigate until you get used to them, so it may help you to make a list of the firearms you have before visiting the sites.
Good Luck,
Dave

Asking a question like this in this manner is akin to asking these guys what the value of a tea set would be.
Best to go to the sites the guys have listed, or better yet, post a list here. As others have said, we might be able to give approximate values.
Welcome to the forum.:)

The gun trade and value magazines in stores seem way off in there appraisels in my opinion. And the auction site ideas i agree with completely. Its what ive been doing on the web for years to get value of other collectibles and things of interest. You just cant trust certain people on this type of thing until you see the money come into play. And you cant wait and find this information out on one-of-a-kinds either though...
