I just bought an old Remington military rolling block rifle in 7x57. It is in fine condition. I was wondering if anyone knows what calibers I could possibly re barrell it for. I was hoping for something like a 38-55 or larger.

You should not have any problem going to a 38-55 or 45-70. These calibers present no problem in the 7mm rolling block.

Rebarreling to a larger caliber should be fairly easy to accomplish. Personally -- I'd be as happy as could be with one in 7x57!
