Ok guys, I need help! I'm looking for a synthetic stock to fit a Winchester 670...I have been looking around and all I can find is synth stocks for M70's. These wouldn't work because the 670 doesn't have a hinged floor plate. If anyone has seen a synthetic 670 stock or no where I might be able to locate one, could you please let me know. Thanks in advance you guys! :)

I believe that Midway sells the floorplates and trigger guards that will make the stocks for the model 70 work. you might check that angle out.

I've got a factory synthetic stock for a 670, short action if you're interested.

I would...but I'm in Canada, and getting gun parts passed customs can be a bear sometimes! But, thanks for the offer. :)

I have the same problem, sort of. I have received a model 670 that was cut off for a youth rifle and can't find any replacement stock, synthetic or wood. Did you ever have any luck with yours?
I put a Brown fiberglas Model 70 stock on a 670 Winchester. The stock was made for the M70, and had a hole for the floorplate ( I don't believe Brown makes a stock for the 670). But, since the space for the floorplate is the only difference between a 670 stock and a 70 stock, my approach was to take a piece of fiberglas fabric and some resin and make the Brown stock into a blind magazine type stock, a la, the M670.
I should say I started with an unfinished M70 stock. Since I had the filling, sanding and painting to do, anyway, adding a few layers of fiberglas to the bottom of the magazine well was no problem.
In my case, my 670 is a 22-250 that's used in the single shot mode most of the time, and a blind magazine is no inconvenience.
If you've ever done any fiberglas work at all, making a Model 70 stock into a blind magazine 670 stock isn't difficult. What I did should work on any fiberglas stock. Whether it would work on some of the less expensive injection molded plastic stocks, I wouldn't venture a guess.
I think Faucettb's idea of getting the floorplate parts and installing them would work, too.
