A friend and I got some people that we work with together and went shooting today.

From left to right:
J.C. Higgins .22 Bolt, S&W 9mm, High Standard .22, Rem 870 12 Gauge, Tec-22, .22Mag with Scope, Walther PPK, S&W .357, Walther P22, Henry .22 Lever, S&W 669 9mm, Mossberg 500 20ga, J.C. Higgins Mod 36 semi- .22lr, Winchester 1300 20ga.

This plus a box of clay pigeons, 150 20ga shells, 50 each .38sp, 380, .357 and 12ga, nearly 300 9mm and over 800 .22lr and, needless to say, we had a good time.

It worked too, 2 of the three people are looking to purchase their own handgun in the near future. We are all going shopping on Friday.

So just a reminder, $100 in ammo and supplies, a corn field and a good introduction to the sport can make a fan out of even the most skeptical.

Happy Shooting!

I've done this a few times too, it was alot of fun. We always started with about a 15 minute basic safety lesson, and just took turns shooting whatever, usually one at a time.
