They were on sale at Walmart for 25 cents a box, so I had to buy something to use them on. I got this T/C Hawken in real nice shape for $195.00 at a local pawn shop.

Also here's my flintlock. It has a Rice .50 caliber barrel and a Chamber's Late Ketland Lock.

Way to go Swampman. Fine looking weapons. Did you make the flinter?

No, my friend Ken Guy from Signal Mountain, TN made it. It's a copy of an original Gillespie rifle. The original was a .42 and it had a longer barrel than mine. We made do with parts that he already had.

Nice rifle-gun there Swampy and yeah, those Wally World close outs can be real nice. A couple of years back I bought half a dozen cans of CCI musket caps even though I didn't have a musket, it was an offer I couldn't refuse! So then I got a Zouave off Gunbroker just to use those caps! Man I love saving money!!! :D

Looks good Swampman. I like the extra-long tang and the crescent side plate, nice color on the wood & iron too.
