First off I know nothing about model 94s. My Dad has a model 94 chambered in 30-30 that has an engraved color case hardened receiver and a gold saddle ring and loading gate. Was this a special edition? I know the rifle is at least 30 years old and I have never seen one like it at any of the shows I've been to. Any information on this rifle would be greatly appreciated!!
