As some of you have seen, in my other thread, about my Buffalo Bill commemorative, I'm at the very beginning of a rebuilding project. I NEED PARTS!

What is the best/cheapest place to pick up parts for a '94? I'm aware of Midway, midsouth, numrich's, etc., but was wondering if there was anybody that kinda specialised in '94's?

This is definitely a long-term, budget build, so I'll probably be picking up parts at gun shows and stuff.

I believe that Numrich is likely your best source for quantity.

These guys make nice semi-inletted stocks.

I don't need quantity. I'm only building one gun. I need good prices and knowledgeable help.

.

Your best bet is private collector/dealers who specialize in commemoratives. Some one like Ray Wheeler or Glen Ridderbush, both live in Oregun.

Also, just saying "parts" will not help you at all. No one will even look in their stash for "parts". What parts? I think that you are wasting you time in trying to restore a commemorative anyway, the best you will ever have is just a shooter with absolutely no collector value. If you insist on a restoration, we will be glad to help.

Now, WHAT do you need?

I have a receiver with a rusted barrel, a lever, and the floorplate(?). I need everything else. As I said, I need all the parts.

Sorry, knew floorplate was wrong, but I was tired. I guess I meant lower tang.

Sass, Will try to send pics tomorrow.
