While looking through a box of reloading and shooting supplies and bullets that my grandpa just gave to us as we just started reloading and in the big box of stuff i found a 50 shot box of 32 short. Not knowing what it was i opened it and much to my surprise it was a rimfire catridge. As i said nothing was missing from the box and the cardboard box was in near perfect condition. I was wondering if there is any significant monetary value and any information that y'hall can give me about this little catridge. Also mods i posted this here because i thought it would be the best place if you want to move it to the rimfire section please feel free to do so.

Depending on period of manufacture, condition and manufacturer this could be worth anywhere from $20 or so up to possibly several hundred. Google cartridge collecting and you should links to cartridge collecting sites.
The cartridge is just what it says, similar to the .22 Short it is shorter than the .32 Long, .32 Extra Long, and .32 Long Rifle among others. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries there were many guns chambered for various .32 rimfires. Virtually all forms of actions, both lon guns and handguns were represented. Some, such as some Marlins, could fire both the rimfires and some of the centerfires by changing or reversing the firing pin.

Canuck was a trademark of Dominion Cartridge Company (DCCo) and Canadian Industries Limited (C-I-L). They made it up to about 1970 and were the last North American company to make it. I'd price it a bit higher than $20 a box of 50. There's still lots of shootable guns out there in .32 Rimfire, so it has shooting as well as collector value. A batch of indifferent quality was made in Brazil about 15 years ago and sold in North America for $30 and up a box.
Here's a link to the Long version of the .32 Rimfire.
