you may also check SWFA scopes, they have some pretty good prices

They are Chinese made scopes, just as many of the lower priced name brand scopes now are. The quality of Chinese made scope varies wildly from junk to not bad at all. Recoil and higher magnification is where many of these scopes show their weakness. Being that Tru-Glo put their name on it it is a big plus. A quick search under Tru-Glo scope reviews is very positive....so much so I just ordered one from Natchez myself. At $59.00 its hard to go wrong.

I just ordered the 8-32 Tru Glo model for $56.00. If I don't like it, I will put it on Ebay and get my money back or more.

My 6X24X44 came in today, optics are quite good for a low priced scope even at 24 power. About the same as a Mueller. Came in a BIG box with srew on caps and two different length sunshades. I think I might get another just because of the price.

the scope pictured on the Natchez website looks just like a BSA contender I had on a 700Vss.
It was a good scope, and took the recoil of a .308, but got really muddy up at higher magnifications.
Perhaps it is the very same scope made for another company...

I will say the one I have seems to be pretty clear at 24 power.

Got my 8-32x to day. Excellent clarity up to 24x and not bad at 32x. Well worth the $60.

great scope! glad i got it! but i'm wondering what the little allen wrench is for... i need to look it over more closely to see if i can figure out what it does...

on closer inspection it looks like there are tiny allen screws in the target turrets... i looked at the instructions i found on the back of the huge tru-glo sign:D... but i saw no mention of allen screws or wrenches yet... i wish it had come with rings though... i do have a set of simmons rings here so i hope they are tall enough to use...

the allen screws allow you to loose the turret and move the marks to zero, [then resecure] at the given range you zero for.

Yup, same as the BSA scope.

i finally gathered that... the scopes are zeroed at the factory before shipped but at what range? i think this will be a great scope for my 1022 custom but i couldn't find any taller rings i liked today... i have some simmons short rings i was going to trade for the medium height ones and hope that's tall enough for a 44 mm obj lens on her... i'm getting really anxious (sp) to get back to a range to sight in the new scope or sight in a scope on my savage mkII 17 mach2 or something!

Scopes are supposed to leave the factory with the settings in the midrange of adjustments, not for a particular distance. The focal plane probably is adjusted to that of the inspector.
