Good Day,
I'm new to the forum and have a question. I just placed an order today for a Freedom Arms in 475 Linebaugh. I want to get either a Mountain Moulds or a LBT mould for casting bullets. I'm thinking a 400 - 405 grain bullet. My questions is does anyone have a recommendation on the "nose - crimp" length measurement. So far what I turned up comes out to .360 or .365. Does that sound right?

Welcome to the forum kobol. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.

I can't help you with the molds, just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'd bet some of our members can give you some mold ideas though.

Thank you for the welcome.
The 475 is new to my collection so I thought I see if anyone had some opinions on the bullet molds and specs.

I recommend the LBT. All you have to do is let Veral know is that you want the bullet to fit in the Freedom Arms 475 and he will make the mold for the bullet to perfectly fit in the Freedom Arms revolver

I do not know the exact length but I do no that the LEE 475 cast bullet just barely fits in the cylinder of my M 83 .475 L. I have to be carefull to seat it right to the top of the crimp groove.
Point being, be sure what nose length you want before ordering.
Mountain molds does have some good suggestions for Freedom Arms and cast bullets on there web site.
