You can use whatever magazine your handgun will hold. The restriction on new magazine capacity expired in 2004. Take care...

. . . The restriction on new magazine capacity expired in 2004. . . .

Almost correct.:D In actuality, the FEDERAL restriction on magazine capacity expired lifting the ban as far as the Feds are concerned. Yet, there are certain backward States whose liberal legislators passed identical STATE laws banning magazines over a certain capacity. So while the Federal restriction is lifted, shooters in some States will never know the difference since their legistators have sold them down the river. Am I bitter?? Yes I am! Why is it OK for me to carry two or more ten round magazines but not ONE fifteen round magazine? This must be the new math!
Altemose, who asked the question should check on his own State laws regarding magazine capacity to stay legal.

I should have specified that the Federal ban was lifted in 2004. My state never imposed that stupid magazine restriction so we can use whatever magazines we want. Thanks for that clarity. Take care...

There is no restriction on magazines in Idaho!! You must be an immigrant from the communist state Komiforinia? Be free and get a couple of 30 rounders and have fun!! Get a hip holster an OC as well !! Be free!! It O.K!!! :)
