I really had no intention of buying anything at the gun show, but. There it was, a really nice Interarms Rossi 92 in 45lc, 24" octagon barrel. Well It is now in pieces awaiting a polish and trigger job. It has a really creepy 4.5lb trigger now. That I will fix in the morning. Gunslinger springs are backordered so they will come later.
It appears to be drilled and tapped for a tang sight. It has an extra hole in the tang that has a plug screw. Does anyone know if these rifles were indeed pre-drilled? Can't wait to shoot it.

Curious: Yep, they were drilled. I have one (Rossi) in 44 Mag and I mounted an old tang sight on it as well. Works wonders for my old eyes. I'm like you, these 92 clones are really neat little guns!

I seem to remember an empty hole one one side ( right ) that is used to push a pin put ? Threaded plug screw on the opposite side ? Have to push this pin out to take the rifle apart ?
God bless

Yes, but that is only part of the disassembly. The trigger and hammer group has to come out first for the breechblock to come out of the receiver. Best to refer to a firearms assembly/disassembly book first before taking a '92 apart.
