Well just cast up a bunch of 185gr swc, then found out I dint have any loading data for the 185's. Any help? Twillis or 41fan you guys got anything like that in your loading data? Will be using a blackhawk with 6 1/2" bbl.
Thanks Gun Runner

I could not find any loads for the 185. I did find some stuff close however.
Accurate Arms list data for a 175 gr lead
#2 - min 5.4 grs for 878 max 6.0 grs for 975
#5 - min 8.4 grs for 914 max 9.3 grs for 1015
#7 - min 14.4grs for 1316 max 16.0grs for 1462
#9 - min 17.6grs for 1421 max 19.5grs for 1579
I have had good results with #9 in my guns
Out of an old Lyman 45th edition:
data for a 199gr cast bullet
Bullseyes - 3.0 grs 641fps to 5.5 grs 994fps
Unique (old) - 8.0grs 1132fps to 11.0grs 1436fps
2400 - 16.0grs 1225fps to 19.0 grs 1533fps
IMR 4227 - 18.0grs 1245 to 22.3 grs 1448fps
Sorry I could not find any data for the 185. Hope this helps you out some.

Twillis, tks for the info. Gonna get the calculator out and see what I can come up with. This gives me a starting place to build a load with.

I've read that it's safe to use data for the next up heavier bullet, but don't do it the other way around. It don't apply to H110 or W296 though!
