I would like to go through my BLR (pre-81), how do the stocks come off?
How hard to do for a somewhat knowledgeable guy?
I have some assumptions, but thought I'd ask some of you with experience before I make a go of it.

You might see if you can download a manual from Browning, Usually there's a schematic that will show you all the parts and how the gun goes together. I believe there is a stock bolt and you will have to remove the recoil pad or butt pad and use a long screwdriver or socket to undue it.
