Have any of you here fired one of these rifles? I'm kinda thinking about trying one.
I'm a little leary about the sleeved barrel, as I have one on a .22 that doesn't shoot worth a crap.
I want to start thinning the coyote population and my model 12 at 13.5 lbs is just too much to lug around.
I like the sound of the trim receiver and the 8.25 lb weight but would like a little feed back before taking the plunge.
Thanks Glenn.

Savage has a good rep for accuracy on the 110's and clones of that. I haven't heard anything on the new 25's. I'm not a Savage fan, just to darned ugly for me, but I doubt if they would even market a gun that wouldn't shoot in this day and age.

I personally like the CZ's, but that's just me. I pack a CZ 527 Varmint that weighs 7.2 pounds naked.

Bob, I just went on gunbrokers and looked at the CZ527 and I have to wonder when was your last Optomertrist visit? That 527 is as homely as a buck tooth freckle faced red headed chinese kid!:)
But just maybe you find real beauty in small groups, like I do! Glenn
