I did some work out on my hunting property today. 17 acres of pure heaven on earth. The deer just love the place and always have but I like to sweeten the pot as much as I can. Salt lics and food plots are all I can do. I keep about an acre mowed and it includes a 100 yd range for a little sighting in and load development. I gun hunted it last year because I was recovering from surgery but I usually save these deer for the bow.

Great pix Chief. I live in a little town of about 150 folks and we are simply overrun with deer. It's to the point that unless you put up an electric fence you can't grow a garden anymore. Came home day before yesterday and they were 12 head in my front yard. Good thing is if grocery prices keep going up I'm going to have some fresh venison to go along with my little vegetable garden. We've got whitetails and mulies all eating the gardens togather. Last year they even ate my Rhubarb, leaves and all. I sure don't have to worry about putting in a food plot.

That's sure pretty country back there in SC. I used to get thru there often when I was trucking. You guys sure have been getting hit with some nasty weather though this spring.
