How can I tell the year of manufacture for my 39A? I looked everywhere for a serial number and can only find and notice the following: gold trigger, micro-groove barrel:confused:

The serial number should be on the tang where it joins the stock. Some of the older ones may have had it on the lower tang under the lever. Newer ones have it on upper tang.

When you do locate the number, go here to find when it was made.
