My wife left at 5:30 to visit her mother and that left me with a free day. I took my small bores to the range and was set up and shooting before 7AM. It was dead calm and about 50 degrees and sunny. Both me and the guns were "on" and it was a nice outting.
After about two hours a guy came in with a 416 Weatherby and a lead sled. The gun had a muzzle brake. He did a walk-by and told everyone he was going to shoot and we might want to double check our hearing gear. I walked down to his station and watched as he touched it off. Holy Moly - He was shooting tungsten solids at $146 a box! After 6 shots he had about a 4" group at 100 yards. The shots were strung vertically more than horizontally. He was checking the scope because he was going on a brown bear hunt in Alaska. We were talking and he told me he was considering reloading for it. I think I would have considered that with the purchase of my first box of ammo.
